1. Studying
Expectation: We all make up HUGE promises to ourselves every time exams come up that we’ll buckle up and put in more hours and study 24×7.
Reality: We’re all the same, give us 2 days or 20 days to study, we’ll study just a day before and the rest of the time goes into day dreaming.
2. Taking care of kids:
Expectation: We all know how angelic ad cute kids are and taking care of them is a blessing because oh well kids are SO CUTE!
Reality: KIDS ARE THE DEVIL HIMSELF REINCARNATED!!! And taking care of them? God help us!
3. Cooking at home:
Expectations: As someone rightly said, anyone can cook. We’re all such masterchefs.
Reality: Where is the salt? Is this edible? What am I supposed to do with this spoon like thing? Help!!!
4. Flirting
Expectation: Hey, you like it, you go for it. Because as Beyonce righty said, “If you like the thing, you should put a ring on it”
Reality: We’re hopeless, we’re just so hopeless!
5. Post break up
Expectations: Single life here I come! Party! Booze! I am going to look so fabulous. Ex? Who?
Reality: Why did it happen, Why GOD Why, Why me, we were so good together
6. Hanging out with boyfriend/girlfriend:
Expectation: Oh my God, hey let’s play together and do cute stuff together.
Reality: We’re going to do the most random stuff ever!!
7. Weddings:
Expectations: We’re going to dress up, look fabulous and we’re going to dance so much!!
Reality: When will the food be served already?
8. Waking up in mornings:
Expectations: Oh it’s morning!! Look the sun is shining, the birds are chirruping oh it’s so beautiful.
Reality: This is does not feel normal, this is definitely not normal
Or sometime even this…
9. Friday nights
Expectations: OMG, TGIF right? Let’s hit some clubs, look fabulous and dance off ourselves.
Reality: Icecream, check. Pajamas, check. A book/movie, check. Perfect Friday
10. Starting a diet
Expectation: So it’s healthy eating time, no junk, only exercise.
Reality: Maybe I’ll start tomorrow? Or maybe next month? Or year 2022?
11. Going to school
Expectations: Let’s get studying done, wohoo, I am going to meet my friends.
Reality: Please don’t push me in the hell hole!!
